Is edit in CAS safe to use on townies and Sims in general? NRaas Story Progression.would I want to have that on or off in WA worlds? I don't know how well that would work in WA Worlds.ģ.
Years ago I had a Sim get eaten/disappeared upon returning from France, gone *poof*, does anyone know if that glitch was fixed (I had asked other simmers if that happened to them and I wasn't alone) and if not is there anything I can do to try to go to France (or maybe it's the WA worlds in general) without potentially losing my Sim? I don't think it was the first time I went to France that happened but I still don't want to potentially lose a Sim like that, other than just having a save file from right before leaving for a WA world, just in case? Or is that all that can be done?Ģ.
So by using MC's Total Annihilation you can get rid of every townie in an EA world and populate it with your own, without corrupting anything? I had read that would corrupt it as well, though it was a long time ago i'd heard it.ġ. Maybe one of those old ideas left over from TS2 and still kicking around? I don't know where this notion comes from that the built-in townies are a necessary part of a world's functioning or programming. That is, provided they are removed from the game properly - not by testingcheatsenabled shift-clicking their body, but rather by evicting them out in Edit Town or, even better, using MasterController's Total Annihilation function. Certainly EA worlds will progress differently if the characteristics (including traits and gender) of the townies change or if the townies are removed entirely, but those things won't make for any kind of corruption. I've also read that the built-in townies in EA worlds are required to remain in play or else the worlds will become corrupt.
